Everyone has their own wheel to use throughout their workshop. No sharing!

6 Week Improvers Throwing Courses
This is a course is suitable for anyone who has completed a beginners throwing course with me, or elsewhere and are looking to take the next steps and improve on their basic skills.
You will continue to improve your throwing skills by advancing your technique, as well as starting to learn how to pull handles, trim bases and explore your creativity in how you shape and decorate your pots.
Over the 6 weeks you will work towards producing your best two pots to decorate and have fired. Again, this is not about making a large haul of pots to be fired!
£240pp
includes clay, glazing and firing your final pots. Please bring your own set of throwing tools

6 Week Beginners Throwing Courses
No Beginners courses at present
This is a course is suitable for complete beginners or those who would like to refresh your skills. You'll learn the skills needed to throw a pot: centring, coning, pulling walls and shaping a pot on the wheel using different tools. You'll learn the difference between throwing a cylinder and a bowl. You will also learn how to prepare and recycle your clay. Over the 6 weeks you will work towards producing your best pots in the final couple of weeks which will then go on to be glazed and fired for you. This course is not about making a large haul of pots to be fired!

Courses are open to adults.
Wheel Throwing Experiences are open to anyone 14 years/GCSE age or over.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/responsible adult who is responsible for their well being at all times (they do not need to join the class).
